You've got one week left to get dear ole' dad a Father's Day present, and this year don't buy him a boring tie. In tonight's Style File Seven's Belkys Nerey shows us some hip gifts to make dad feel cool again.
WSVN -- Whether your dad is like Brad Pitt with a brood of kids, or a new pop like rocker Joel Madden, do something different for father's day.
Send him for a day of relaxation at Monsieur Day Spa in Coral Gables, it's a new spa that caters exclusively to men.
Golnesa Ghovanloo, Monsieur: "You come in and tell us you want to be called King Thomas. You can be whoever you want. This is a haven for men."
They've created five special Father's Day packages, including services like a hot shave, haircut, mani, pedi and massage.
All the pampering is done in a very manly environment with open treatment areas and flat screen TVs tuned to sports or business news.
Golnesa: "This is typically for the businessman who wants to escape from the nagging wife, just wants to be by himself, watching sports, having a drink."
At the bistro upstairs, guys can have a drink or a smoke and just hang out. The spa can also help you take care of unfinished business.
Golnesa: "We also have an in-house concierge, so if you do miss your wife's anniversary, we can get them a nice gift, if you need dry-cleaning. We will take care of all your needs."
If you're looking for a gift for the rocker dad, trade in that Old Spice for the new Ed Hardy cologne for men that just hit the market.
Salo Lekach, CEO Ed Hardy Fragrances: "It's for that father who still wants to maintain a little crazy lifestyle, a little rock 'n' roll edge."
Salo Lekach: "It has warm amber, and it literally smells like hot skin. It uses unusual ingredients like mint julep and sage, so it has that minty feel. It awakens your senses."
For the meat and potatoes man, the new Kobe Club on South Beach is serving up a beefy package for Father's Day.
Chef Tim: "It includes two appetizers of your choice, a Samurai flight, which is a six ounce American prime fillet, a four ounce fillet, a four ounce Australia, four ounce Japanese kobe."
You also get side items like sake, creamed corn and truffle fries, two signature desserts and kobe punch. All for $300.
Plus dad might love dining under all the swords that hang from Kobe's ceiling.
Chef Tim: "The decor at Kobe Club is very masculine. We have over 2,000 samurai swords, which you can choose to sit under or not sit under."
Just be sure you're being a good wifey before you choose to eat under the hanging blades!
Monsieur Day Spa also offers a men's organic skin care line and spray tanning, and you can pick up the new Ed Hardy fragrance at Macy's.
