Style File: Dream Night Club
For all you party animals looking for something to do on a Monday night, you can now step inside a world of pure fantasy with a new burlesque-vaudeville type of show in South Beach. Tonight Seven's Belkys Nerey takes us inside this circus show of fun.
WSVN -- Welcome to the Chat Noir. A new burlesque-vaudeville type show that spins out of control every Monday night at Club Dream in South Beach.
Octifa, Emcee of Chat Noir: "Every week is a different show, different fantasies, different Life."
The ringmaster behind this circus of a party is Diana Lozano who runs the performance troupe Circ X.
Diana Lozano, Circ X, Director: "This night is completely different that anything you will ever see at a nightclub."
Each week Diana and her cast of talented characters dream up three totally new Vegas-style numbers choreographed to everything from pop hits to cabaret music.
ZaZa, Circ X Performer: "We're bringing cabaret back to life in Miami, that's what we're doing!"
The show begins before you even get inside Club Dream.
Stilt walkers, sexy cats, even a green fairy all stand outside ready to lure you into their bizarre world.
Diana Lozano: "Even as you're walking down the sidewalk one of our stilt walkers, Lucky Bruno, is going to come and attack you down the block."
Once inside, the night is sprinkled with a variety of acts from rap artists to sultry burlesque routines to daring circus stunts.
But beware, this often naughty show is not for the kiddies.
Diana Lozano: "I would say it's PG-13, and sometimes it could go into the NC-17."
So, adults, go and enjoy the show, just don't feed the, ummm, animals.
The show goes from 10 to midnight every Monday night at Club Dream on Washington Avenue in South Beach.
You can get tickets at the door; they cost anywhere from $20 to $40.
