Style File: Royal Wedding Viewing Party
The royal wedding is April 29. Although most of us won't be attending William and Kate's big day, you can still view it like a royal. 7's Belkys Nerey shows us the best way to watch in tonight's "Style File."
WSVN -- So you didn't get an invite to the royal wedding.
Don't fret. You can still be part of the grand affair.
Chef Matthew: "You're going to be able to enjoy Prince William and Kate Middleton getting married."
At the National Hotel on South Beach, they're rolling out the red carpet for a royal viewing party.
Chef Matthew: "We're going to be showing a viewing on a big screen in our lounge, and that's going to start at 6 a.m."
Yeah, you're going to have to get up pretty early to catch all the wedding action, but they'll make it worth it.
While you're watching the Prince and Princess get hitched, you can nosh on an English breakfast buffet for $24.
Chef Matthew: "We're going to include traditional English breakfast items, such as seared tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms. We're going to do eggs any style you like. Hash browns, English muffins, crumpets, jams, jellies."
Like any good British affair, there will be tea time, served with petit fours.
And ladies, there's a good reason to wear a hat that day.
Chef Matthew: "We're going to serving a special cocktail during the brunch called a Kir Royal, but if you wear your fancy English hat, we'll give you a free cocktail."
Talk about viewing the royal wedding like a royal.
At Acqualina Resort & Spa in Sunny Isles, you can slip on a robe and watch the nuptials in their spa.
Yessenia Campos, ESPA, Acqualina Resort & Spa: "We're going to have TV screens in our women's relaxation area, viewing from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m."
Don't worry. They won't hush you if gush at Kate's dress.
You can sip tea, nosh on British bites and indulge in their royal treatment package. The spa package is two hours of pampering from head to toe.
Yessenia Campos: "They're going to start off with a foot ritual, which really soothes the feet. They'll get a body scrub, a decadent massage, a nourishing body wrap, a paraffin treatment and a scalp massage."
You're sure to leave feeling like a prince or a princess.
Belkys Nerey: "Acqualina is also offering hotel deals if you want to spend the night. I will be traveling to the royal wedding, so be sure to catch all my live reports."
