There's a lot going on at the hotels on South Beach and it's not just for hotel guests, it's all about the locals. 7's Belkys Nerey shows us how to party like you're on vacation in tonight's Style File.
WSVN -- Put on your party shoes and check out the fab facelift for the Shelborne Hotel on South Beach.
Keith Menin-Principal: "The old Shelborne was like an old hotel from 1985. The new Shelborne is this energetic, fun, chic, cool environment with playful places to be.
And you don't have to check in as a hotel guest to enjoy the property's 20 million dollar renovation.
Keith Menin-Principal: "I'm a local, so I wanted to do a place for locals by locals."
You can party at their bumpin lobby bar or even rent a cabana for the day at their pool.
There are three new restaurants so whatever suits your taste buds you can find it there from a sushi bar called Bar Tanaka.
Keith Menin-Principal: "Which has a very famous sushi chef from Philadelphia, who worked under Morimoto, and Stephen Starr for many years."
To Vesper, a restaurant with a secret dining room where you'll need to find the doorman to find your table.
Granville Adams: "The only way to get to our hidden brasserie is this way, through the kitchen. People think they are going in the back way, but in fact, we are going through the only entrance."
Once inside this beautiful space you'll dine on American comfort food. For you laid-back beach bums sit beachside and get a taste of baha cuisine at Lucy's Cantina Royale.
Robert Pereira: "We have our chipotle corn, it's grilled corn on the cob with chipotle sauce and queso fresco sprinkled on top. We also did our fish taco. It's got a cilantro Cuban vinaigrette, kobia fish and a little red and white cabbage."
Robert Pereira: "We have a Happy Hour from 4 to 6. We have two for one drinks. Two for one tacos."
Right down the street at the Loews Hotel, locals can rock out every Thursday night with a free concert in the hotel's lounge.
Mutluhan Kucuk: "Live from the Loews is going to happen every Thursday night from 8 p.m to 11 p.m. It's a complimentary event. Everyone is invited."
The hotel is partnering up with the live music venue "The Stage" to showcase some of the best bands around.
Carlos Garcia: "We're very excited to bring what we believe is the best live music to the Loews. Tonight is Angela Laino and Brendan O'Hara and DJ Manuvers, two wonderful soulful groups."
Every week expect a different band with a different sound
Lizzie Easton-Montes: "The whole month is a good lineup."
Laura Gonzalez-Pola: "I love the music it's a great time to come back to the hotel. Locals dont get to come here often, so it's a great experience."
And while you're jamming out, you can sip $8 cocktails and order food specials.
Mutluhan Kucuk: "You can order from Sushi Sobe, which is the best sushi in town."
Laura Gonzalez-Pola: "It's a nice little getaway even it's only for a few hours."
So sleep at home, but party at a hotel you're welcome there,
Belkys Nerey: "Again, the concerts are free and are every Thursday night starting at 8 p.m."
