WSVN -- When it comes to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival tickets to the culinary extravaganza go fast.
One of the hottest events the Burger Bash is sold out, but the Ritz-Carlton South Beach is making sure you get to be a part of it!
Jenni Greenspan: "Burgers on the Boardwalk is an event we're going to be hosting on Friday Feb. 24th in conjunction with Burger Bash. The reason we created this event is we wanted to give locals the opportunity to sample everything exciting that is going on in the actual Burger Bash tents."
Grab a seat at the Ritz' Dilido Beach Club and sample the same burger their chef Andrew Balick will be competing with at the Burger Bash.
Andrew Balick: "We're doing a lamb slider. It's 100 percent ground lamb. We're making our own brioche bun, it's got rosemary, parmesan, onion baked into the dough."
There will be live music, specialty cocktails and other burgers and food specials to try. Plus for you stalkers, they'll even have telescopes on the lawn so you can spy on your favorite Food Network chef at the Burger Bash on the sand.
Chef Douglas Rodriguez: "If you can't get on the boat, you might as well come get the next
best experience."
Salsa at Sea a boat cruise brunch hosted by Miami chef Douglas Rodriguez and Aarón Sanchez is also sold out, but you can enjoy the same menu from all the different chefs on land at De Rodriguez Cuba Restaurant next Friday and Saturday.
Chef Douglas Rodriguez: "We have nine different ceviches on the menu. We'll be able to try the mother and child chicken, which is the chicken and the egg. You'll be able to try the smoked marlin tacos. The Sugarcane skewered tuna. The key lime dessert."
Of course we didn't forget the vino at the new Wine by the Bay in Downtown Miami enjoy a free wine tasting next Wednesday through Saturday.
Stefano Campanini: "We're going to offer wines from the four different regions. We're going to have France, Italy, California and South America. Very fine wines chosen."
The wine shop focuses on unique boutique wines and they promise they'll be pouring the good stuff. Bonus they also rotate art work so you get some culture too.
Belkys Nerey: "The key here-make reservations to all these places now and there are some select wine and food festival tickets available.
