Style File: Indoor Mini-Golf
It's that time of year when we South Floridians start looking for shelter from the heat and humidity. So how about a spot where you can play miniature golf inside? 7s Belkys Nerey takes a swing at all the fun in tonight's Style File.
The bowling alley has added a new miniature golf course, the only indoor course in South Florida.
Lorenzo Roman: "I love mini-golf. I can have fun and it feels like it's outside."
There are nine holes to take a swing at. The island-themed course features tricky obstacles like starfish, hippos and seals.
Cody Heistand: "The seal is the hardest. When you get to the back of it, there is this hill and like you have to maneuver to get up it, it just goes up and comes right back down."
To make things even more difficult and fun there are a few holes in the middle of the bowling alley that are glow-in-the dark, but this activity is not hard on your wallet.
Amanda Chacon: "Monday through Thursday it's $5 per person, per game. Friday and Saturdays it's $6."
And it's not just for the kids adult fun is also part for this course. There is a stylish bar where you can order colorful cocktails or beer, and there are plenty of snacks to munch on. You can sip and putt.
Amanda Chacon: "You can grab a cocktail and not be afraid to be sort of goofy and fun."
Austin Arseneau: "The bar, the atmosphere here is great. The music is fantastic."
So let it be your indoor refuge during the long, hot summer. We won't penalize you for having too much fun.
Belkys Nerey: "Again it's only $5 to $6 s a game and of course, you can bowl there as well."
