If the shoe fits, wear it. If you like fashionable feet, you probably know the name Donald Pliner. Well in tonight's Style File, we're going inside the photo shoot for his new shoe campaign - shot right here in south florida.
Donald pliner: There are lots of shoes and names, but there really isn't anybody behind it, and i felt that it is important to create an image of who donald pliner really was.
Donald is one of today's hottest footwear designers. His shoes worn by celebrities like Elton John, Tina Turner, and even Shaq who has his size 13's custom-made.
Lisa Pliner: I
love that Shaq wears them only the fact that he wears them because he is G-d to miami.The shoe styles may change but something else never does. Donald his wife Lisa and their beloved maltese Baby Doll always take center stage in the ads.
Lisa pliner: I'm like his little muse, I'm his wife, look what I am making her.
What's a photo shoot without make-up and hair. Celebrity hairstylist Oribe and his beauty brigade on hand to make sure everything is picture perfect.
Oribe: Lisa it's fun because she can take a lot of hair and I love big hair, so it's just working with her and making her look great and sexy.
Photographer Mike Ruiz has worked with the Pliner's on six campaigns. The lensman has also shot A-Listers like Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan.
Lisa Pliner: All the people behind it has come together and just had everyone, you know, be a big team together.
A big team that hopefully will create some big results in the fashion world.
