All The Buzz

Who says you need a special occasion to enjoy a fancy dinner. If you don't have anything to celebrate find an excuse. This month is just the time to check out that restaurant you've been dying to try.

(WSVN) Good food is great, but it can cost a pretty penny...but what if I told you could get some gourmet grub for a fraction of what you'd normally pay...

It's all part of a month long promotion called Miami Spice where some of South Florida's finest best restaurants are offering up some special menus with some special prices to match...thank you...you are welcome..

Take Touch on Lincoln Road,  for example, you can choose between Grilled Grouper Filet, Center Cut New York Strip, or Grilled Lamb Chops for your entree. Throw in an appetizer and a dessert and normally this would set you back about 65 bucks per person....with the Miami Spice deal you get this 3 course preset meal for 29.99.

All you have to do is decide where you want to eat.

Azul at The Mandarin Hotel

China Grill

Wish

The Blue Door at The Delano Hotel

Bolero

Sushi Samba

Rumi

The gourmet list goes on and on.

Jeanne Sullivan, Greater Miami, says "A lot of people are using the Miami Spice Resaturant month to close the deal, impress a client, alot of peple were using the promotion to impress a date.."

In addition to the preset dinner deal, some of the Miami Spice participants like Bice and Baleens in Coconut Grove also offer 3 course lunch menus for just 19.99.

Vincent Lombino, Baleen Director of Operations, says "The phone calls just people coming since we started on the first in lunch dinner the weekend we're running it 7 days so people really are excited..."

Yeah -- they say bring it on.

Jonathan Hettinger, a diner, says "I think it's a great deal because it encourages people to go out and try new things.."

"It affords everybody I think in town the opportunity to get out and try out some of the finer restaurants if for some reason cost has been the prohibitive factor so far..."

Each restaurant's menu varies so it's best to call ahead to see what's being offered and check to see if there are any day or time restrictions for their Miami-Spice promo...
