Some big name stars are lighting up the big screen this weekend.

(WSVN) Jennifer Aniston is going from a friend to a good girl in her new movie.

In The Good Girl she plays a checkout clerk, whose dull life gets out of control when she has an affair.

It's a big stretch from her Rachel character on Friends.

She says, "I kind of am at a place in my career where I feel like I gotta try this, this is in me, I want to do it."

Set on the moon in the year 20-87, Eddie Murphy plays a nightclub owner, who is trying to leave his criminal roots behind.

Actor Eddie Murphy says, "I kind of like that he was kind of like this guy scrambling in the underworld, kind of like a Hans Solo kind of character."

Funnymen, Randy Quaid and Jay Mohr join Murphy in this action, adventure comedy too.

Mohr even had to sing for this part.

Actor Jay Mohr says, "In the first 15 takes I sounded like a dying Armadillo, and then I actually started to sound good for some reason."

Surf's up in the new movie, "Blue Crush".

Shot on location in Hawaii... This one's got girls, bikinis, surf boards and a lot of waves, but the stars of this feature film say the movie's more than that.

Michelle Rodriguez says, "They had more of an idea that it wouldn't be just another corny surfer flick. It would have more quality then that."

Blue Crush, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, and The Good Girl open in theatres on Friday.
