The Buzz: Eve The Rapper

The first single "Gangsta Lovin" with Alicia Keys is already topping the charts.

Eve, Rapper, says "This song to me is undeniably hot. I think it's a smash...my isnpriation is everything ...walking down the street, things that I been through, just relationshiops friendships, business movies everything is my inspiration...people that I run into.."

One of those people was No Doubt's Gwen Stefani.

Their collaboration last year on "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" from Eve's double platinum c.d. "Scorpion" led to her first Grammy win..but the self proclaimed pit bull in a skirt wasn't worried about living up to the hype when it came time to get back in the studio...

"I am blessed I am very happy for winning the Grammy and I was very happy to have a number one album but at the same time I don't want to program myself into ok...I gotta do this album for another Grammy or I gotta do this album so it hits number one cuz that's when you dissapoing yourself..."

And now Hollywood wants to know all about Eve...

She had a small part in Vin Diesel's XXX and an even bigger role in the new comedy Barbershop...

"Theres a little bit of a negative stereotype when it comes to the word rapper so I was nervous cuz I wanted to act my best and they were really supportive so it turned out good..."

Not ready to accept oscar just yet she is happy about her Eve-Olution...

"Hopefully you all will love it..."
