She's got a new album, a new love, and a new home in Miami. Seven's Belkys Nerey has The Buzz on superstar singer Thalia.

Her new album just hit store shelves, but when it did it went straight to the top of the charts.

Thalia's self titled album a true testament to the Mexican born pop stars staying power in the world of entertainment.  After nearly a dozen albums and starring roles in a bunch of Spanish language soaps, she's still at the top of her game.

Singer Thalia says, "I'm so happy. I'm truly happy. It's like the response of my fans is immediate. You know it's immediate there and I feel very moved and happy."

Part of that happiness comes from her constant evolution as a singer after nearly 20 years in the biz. She's released records in French and Portugese, as well as her native Spanish, and her latest album features three English tracks.

Among them a remake of the 80's dead or alive classic -  "You Spin Me Round."  It's Thalia's way of testing the waters, before jumping into the Anglo market. She says, "I started when I was nine and basically it was a game I was playing to be famous and then it became a reality and I enjoy what happens in my life."

Right now she's enjoying being Mrs. Tommy Mottolla and her new home on Star Island. She says "It's a gorgeous place. it's like paradies...it's good to be in Miami."

And we say welcome Thalia. Don't be surprised if you see Thalia on the big screen. She's being courted by Hollywood big wigs. In the mean time, you can keep listening to her music.
