Houston daughter not charged in Vegas casino case

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A regulator says Whitney Houston's 19-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, isn't going to be prosecuted on an underage gambling allegation in Las Vegas.

The official says investigators and the Clark County district attorney decided Wednesday that a cellphone video posted to a celebrity website wasn't enough evidence to pursue a misdemeanor case.

Brown was at the MGM Grand casino May 20 while attending the Billboard Music Awards.

Nevada Gaming Control Board enforcement Deputy Chief Dave Salas tells The Associated Press that if an enforcement agent saw Brown playing the slot machines, Brown might have been charged.

The legal gambling age in Nevada is 21.

Salas says casino owner MGM Resorts International cooperated in the investigation. He says confidentiality rules mean he can't say if the company was fined.
