MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Award-winning actress Halle Berry and actor Morris Chestnut attended the South Florida premiere of their new film, "The Call."

The screening hosted by the Women's International Film Festival, took place Tuesday night at Regal Cinemas on Lincoln Road.

Halle Berry appeared on the red carpet just two nights after her appearance at the Academy Awards. While on the red carpet, she discussed the dress she wore at the Oscars. "It was designed by Donatella Versace and because I was presenting the Bond award, and being a former Bond girl, we wanted to it to be like a Bond girl going to the Oscars, so that's what Donatella came up with," said Berry. "When I saw it, I thought it was the right thing to do."

Berry stars in "The Call" as a 911 operator on the trail of a serial killer. Chestnut co-stars as a cop who becomes interested romantically in Berry's character. "In the movie, obviously, she's the 911 operator, and I play someone who's longing for her affection," said Chestnut. "It's a lot of intensity, heightened intensity throughout this whole movie, and it's very thrilling, suspenseful, and I couldn't be more happier with it."

"The Call" his theaters nationwide on March 15.
