BAYFRONT PARK NEW YEARS EVE -- Downtown Miami Revelers partake in the Red Bull Soundclash featuring Ludacris and Mike Posner. MIAMI BEACH NEW YEARS EVE -- Beginning Friday Dec. 30, 2011 at 7 a.m. through Monday Jan. 2, 2012 at 7 a.m., Ocean Drive from 5th to 14th Street is open to pedestrians only in preparation for the New Year's Eve Fireworks and large crowds during the holiday weekend. The free fireworks occur on Ocean Drive and 8th Street at midnight.

ORANGE DRIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL -- From Dec. 30, 2011 to Jan. 1, 2012, the Orange Bowl Committee and Miami Beach host a 3 day music festival on Ocean Drive between 7th to 9th St. On Friday, doors open at 6 P.M. with performances by Pete Wentz and Black Cards, Boyz II Men, and Gym Class Heroes from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. On New Year's Eve, DJ Irie, Jason Derulo, and Ne-Yo perform before the fireworks and Jermaine Dupri performs after midnight with the show going until 2 a.m. On New Year's Day, Samantha Ronson, Cobra Starship, and Cee Lo Green perform from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with doors opening at 5 P.M. KING MANGO STRUT PARADE -- 2 p.m. on New Year's Eve, the 30th annual King Mango Strut Parade Grand Marshall Ron Magill of Zoo Miami leads the parade of floats in Coconut Grove. The annual satirical street parade has been a model of civic engagement and civil uprising with enough material for a pickapeppa spray and sauce combination. In this interactive parade, the spectators, the true occupiers, are encouraged to bring tents, lawn chairs and cardboard signs. Location: Parade starts on Main Highway and Commodore Plaza.
