Miami-Dade and Broward County 4th of July Activities

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY:

City of Miami (Bayfront Park):

- All Day with Kid Zone open 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Event boasts one of the largest fireworks displays in South Florida with food and beverages and a free Kids' Zone with inflatable slides, a kiddie carousel, hoops, face painting and more.
Location: Bayfront Park, 301 N. Biscayne Boulevard

City of Miami (Coconut Grove):

- Ryan Stone Music will perform on stage.
- Festivities begin at 5 p.m. and fireworks are at 9 p.m.
Location: Peacock Park 2820 McFarlane Road.

Miami-Dade County:

- Fireworks display at 9 p.m.
- Enjoy fireworks display thanks in part to Miami-Dade Commissioner Katy Sorenson, local businesses and municipalities.
Location: Black Point Marina

City of Miami Beach:

- All day expo on the beach with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Location: Eighth Street and Ocean Drive.

City of Hialeah:

- Begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Concert by Carlos Oliva y Los Sobrinos del Juez, followed by a spectacular laser show and fireworks display.
Location: Milander Park, 4700 Palm Ave.

City of North Miami:

- 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Performances of patriotic tunes by the North Miami Community Concert Band and games for children throughout the evening.
Location: FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus, 3000 NE 151 St.

City of Key Biscayne:

- 50th Annual Parade on Crandon Boulevard at 11 a.m.
Location: Crandon Blvd. from Harbor Drive to West Wood Drive.

City of South Miami:

- Festivities including games and face painting begin at 5 p.m.
- Fireworks display at 9 p.m.
- No pets, alcohol or fireworks allowed.
Location: Palmer Park 6120 SW 67th Ave.

City of Aventura:

- 9 p.m. fireworks can be viewed from any location along Country Club Drives.

City of Doral:

- 10 a.m. parade begins at Costa Office Park (HSBC Building) at 9800 NW 41 St.
- Picnic, concert and face painting from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Location: JC Bermudez Park, 3000 NW 87 Ave.

City of Surfside:

- Celebration begins at 4 p.m. with water slides, food and music with fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Free Admission for Surfside residents & hotel guests. All others: $8 for adults and $5 for ages 14 and younger.
Location: Best Western Hardpack Beach, 9365 Collins Ave.

BROWARD COUNTY:

City of Fort Lauderdale:

- Activities begin from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Fireworks display from a barge off shore begins at 9 p.m.
- City will have seven public lots open for fee.

Location: A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.

City of Coral Springs:

- Begins at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Games and entertainment for all ages.
Location: 2575 Sportsplex Drive (just east of Sawgrass Expressway)
Admission: Free (refreshments for purchase, small fee for some activities, $3 parking at Sportsplex)
Note: Personal fireworks and pets are not allowed in the park.

City of Hollywood:

- Begins at 12 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
- Entertainment includes musical performances and fun for children with DJ and Games Master Tony Tiru. Location: Beach Theatre at Johnson Street.

City of Pembroke Pines:

- Free Festivities including rides, music and food booths begin at 7 p.m.
- Fireworks show at 9 p.m.
- No coolers, pets or fireworks permitted.
Location: Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Boulevard.

City of Davie:

- Free family splash pool party at 10 a.m.
- Purchase own food or bring your own.
- Country Group Shadow Creek begins festivities at 6 p.m.
- Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Location: Pine Island Park, 3800 SW 92 Ave.

Vista View Park:

- $5 per car at Broward County's highest man-made elevation to see a panoramic view of fireworks.
Location: Vista View Park 4001 SW 142nd Ave., Davie.

City of Deerfield Beach:

- Children's activities begin from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Festivities continue from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
Location: Ocean Way and Southeast First Street.

Lauderdale By The Sea:

- Annual parade begins at Town Hall, located at 4501 N. Ocean Dr. at 10 a.m.
- Beach Blast Celebration continues after parade at El Prado Beach Park near Town Hall and includes amusement Park with music, water slide and food will be able to purchase.
- Fireworks begin at Anglin's Pier located at 228 Commercial Boulevard at 8:30 p.m. 

City of Margate:

- "Symbols of Freedom" Parade begins at 9 a.m. located at Margate Boulevard and 76th Avenue.
- Fireworks located at the Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road at 9 p.m.

City of Plantation:

- 9 a.m. parade begins at West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 46th Avenue.
- Carnival rides begin at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Location: Central Park Ball Fields, 9151 NW 2nd St.

City of Sunrise:

- 10 a.m. parade at Northwest 12th Street and Sunset Strip, includes grand Marshall Stanley C. Panther.
- 10 a.m. tennis tournament at Sunrise Tennis Club, 9605 West Oakland Park Boulevard.
- Festivities from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bank Atlantic Center with fireworks at 9 p.m.

City of Tamarac:

- All American celebration includes music and rides from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Fireworks display begins at 9 p.m.
- Parking with shuttle service at City Hall and Tamarac Community Center.
Location: Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th St.

City of Weston:

- 7 a.m. 5K run and walk begins at Weston Town Center.
- 10 a.m. parade begins at Town Center Boulevard and Three Village Road.

City of Pompano Beach:

- Fireworks display off shore from barge begins at 9 p.m.
Location: Pompano Fishing Pier, 222 N. Pompano Beach Boulevard.

City of Miramar:

- Free Fun-filled family event begins at 6 p.m with contests for kids and adults.
- Rides and face painting for kids and fireworks display begins at 9 p.m.
Location: Miramar Regional Park. 16801 Miramar Parkway
