Miami-Dade County school budget approved

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A $4.3 billion dollar deal for Miami-Dade County schools has been approved by board members.

The proposed budget does not require any teacher layoffs and enables the district to comply with new rules that cap class size.

Under the deal, about 65 central office positions will be eliminated.
