Watermain project underway in local neighborhood

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Water trouble will soon be over for some residents in The Falls neighborhood in Southwest Miami-Dade.

Construction crews broke ground on a 700,000, 3-month watermain project. The project will connect 37 homes, currently served by private wells, with county water management.

Officials found the wells to be contaminated with potentially dangerous pesticides in a test conducted by the Department of Health back in May.
