Sinkhole continues to shut down intersection

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Fort Lauderdale intersection remains closed as crews continue to make repairs on a sinkhole.

Officials are hoping to reopen the road along Sistrunk Boulevard and Northwest 22nd Avenue by sometime today.

Construction crews have been making the repairs since Wednesday, when the ground surrounding a manhole began giving way.
