AC rebate to help homeowners

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A program is offering a cool rebate to help out some hot homeowners.

Florida's Cash for Clunker Air Conditioner Program kicks off Monday. It offers consumers a $1,500 rebate on the purchase of more energy-efficient central air systems.

To qualify, buyers will need to get their home air ducts tested.
