DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida daycare will close its doors Friday evening after a toddler's death that occurred last month.
Katie's Kids Learning Center will close at 6 p.m. and will remain shut down at least through Sept. 30. An attorney for the center's owner said it has gone broke.
The county stripped over $200,000 in funding to the center in lieu of last month's tragedy.
Two-year-old Haile Brockington was found dead outside the daycare after being left inside a hot van on Aug. 5. A daycare worker has been charged in the child's death.
