5 escape mobile home blaze

DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The fire marshal is investigating a fire that gutted a mobile home early Friday and forced its five residents to flee for their lives.

The five male, local workers who lived in the residence at 741 SW 133rd Terrace have since moved in with relatives.

The trailer park's landlord refused to appear on camera but said that his awareness of the fire risk associated with these structures prompted him to have four exits installed in the portable homes he oversees.
