3 bandits rob elderly couple

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Three thieves are on the loose after they robbed an elderly couple.

Miami-Dade Police responded to the scene at the home along 80th Street and 147th Avenue, at around 9:30 p.m., Sunday.

According to investigators, the crooks ambushed the elderly man outside of the home and stunned him with a Taser.

The bandits then forced the male victim into the home and tied up he and his wife as they ransacked the couple's home. The suspects stole jewelry, firearms and about $1,000 in cash.
