Teen appears before judge

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida teen, who's no stranger to the courtroom, appeared before a judge.

Jeremy Jarvis pleaded not guilty to burglary and theft charges Wednesday.

Police said the 14-year-old and a friend tried to steal a video game system from a Pompano Beach home in May.

Jarvis had been arrested in the past but never charged in connection with the burning of Michael Brewer in Deerfield Beach last October. His brother and two other teens have been charged with attempted murder in that case.
