Ex-Marine beats wife during divorce hearing

MIAMI (WSVN) -- An ex-Marine is facing a slew of charges for viciously attacking his wife during a divorce hearing Friday.

Authorities say Paul Henry Gonzalez, Jr grabbed the woman by the neck before repeatedly hitting her on the side of her face, prompting courtroom security to subdue him with a stun gun

The victim suffered facial fractures, a torn lip and a broken nose.

Gonzalez is charged with felony battery, domestic violence and resisting arrest without violence.
