Car crashes into beauty salon

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida beauty salon has been boarded up after a car smashed through the entrance Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred near Northwest 142nd Street and Seventh Avenue. According to North Miami Police, the driver of the vehicle believed the car was in neutral when the car went crashing through the front of the salon in the strip mall.

Fortunately, only one person was inside the business at the time, and they were not injured.

A 7News viewer snapped a photo of the destruction.

The driver did not suffer any injuries but will be cited for the accident.
