HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A high school student, accused of killing a fellow classmate, has been denied bond.

Eighteen-year-old Alexander Lopez-Lima stands charged with second degree murder and tampering with evidence.

According to police, he shot his classmate to death when they met at his apartment to smoke marijuana Tuesday.

Authorities said Lopez-Lima then removed pot from the unit and placed his gun next to the victim's body.
