911 calls released in Subway shooting
SUNRISE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released 911 calls from a shooting that left two Subway employees in the hospital last Wednesday.
One employee managed to crawl to the business next door to get help.
911 operator: "Where's the person who shot them?
Good Samaritan: "The person left."
911 operator: "In a car?"
Good Samaritan: "I don't know. They just came running over here. We're in a tattoo shop. He just asked us to call 911. He's bleeding right now in the shop."
The suspect barged into the Subway near Northwest 28th Terrace and West Sunrise Boulevard, demanding a free sandwich. He then shot the two men before taking off without any money.
One victim remains in the hospital in stable condition. The other was treated and released.
