Wayne Fariss, former Channel 7 journalist, dies at 82
LAKE PLACID, Fla. (WSVN) -- Veteran Florida broadcaster Wayne Fariss has died.
Fariss passed away at his Lake Placid home, Saturday.
The news anchor had a total of 39 years of experience reporting on stories in both radio and television broadcasting, much of which was in Florida. He even spent some of his career at Channel 7, when it was known as WCKT.
Fariss is survived by his wife, four children and seven grandchildren. He was 82 years old.
