Black Eyed Peas play Sun Life Stadium

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- The Black Eyed Peas performed their final concert of the year at Sun Life Stadium, Wednesday.

Thousands of fans lined up at Sun Life Stadium hours before the concert, as the Black Eyed Peas and special guests performed.

The band took the stage around 10 p.m., but the excitement of the concert was worth the wait for some. "They are so original, so original, and I love them, and I cannot wait to see them," said a fan. "I've never seen them in concert."

One concert-goer tried to surprise a friend who had no idea about the concert. "Oh, my gosh, I thought it was a Dolphin's game," she said.

Girls of all ages sported Fergie outfits at the stadium. "Hyped up crowd, their last concert of the year. It's gonna be awesome," said a fan who dressed like Fergie. "That's the idea, I'm trying to be."

Wednesday's concert is the last for the group before they take a break. "We're having our last show before our hiatus, I mean it's amazing," said Fergie. "We're going to play Sun Life Stadium, which is the Dolphins' stadium, which is my football team. So, as a football fan, that's just amazing in itself, to be able to perform our last show before our break, this is a big deal."

Cee Lo Green, Queen Latifah, T-Pain, Sean Kingston and several other acts accompanied the group during the concert.
