Police search for armed gas station robber

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police need the public's help in finding an armed crook who robbed a man at a gas station.

Broward Sheriff's Office robbery detectives released surveillance video of the armed robbery at the Costco gas station along West Sample Road and Northwest 21st Avenue, last Sunday.

The video shows the victim filling up his car's gas tank, when the suspect approached him and demanded money. The victim reportedly informed the crook that he had no money, but the gunmen stole his wallet anyway and fled the scene.

The armed suspect was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt, black, baggy short and a multi-colored baseball cap.
