'School' sign misspelled on road
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A big spelling mistake was found on a road near a local elementary school.
The sign is supposed to read 'School,' but instead the 'C' was replaced with an 'O' to read 'Sohool.' The mistake is located in front of Bowman Foster Ash Elementary School on 72nd Street and 162nd Avenue.
One driver who drove over the mistake didn't really notice at first. "One says 'School' and the other one says like 'Sohool,' it's an error," said Carlos Duron.
The Florida Department of Transportation said it's not part of their project.
It is unknown when the spelling mistake will be fixed.
