Man arrested in robbery, beating

TAMARAC, Fla. (WSVN) -- A man accused in a vicious New Year's Eve attack is now behind bars.

Authorities arrested Ryan Taylor after a woman said Taylor beat and robbed her moments after she stepped off a county bus in Tamarac, on New Year's Eve.

The woman was able to drag herself to a nearby IHOP restaurant and call for help.

Police believe Taylor is the man who was captured on a transit bus' surveillance camera, wearing a red-and-white striped polo shirt.
