WEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Students at a South Florida college are putting on their dancing shoes to raise money for a good cause.
Florida International University kicked off the 15th annual Dance Marathon, Saturday.
Students will dance for 25 hours straight to raise money for the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation. "There are no shifts, there is no sitting down encouraged, just for meals," said Regina Castaneda of the FIU Dance Marathon. "They are just there sticking with it."
The event hopes to raise more than $60,000.
