MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police said they know who shot and killed a young mother in front of her two children, and now they need the public's help locating that suspect.

Wednesday, the family of Shanquendra Williams made a plea to the public as well as the man who police said shot and killed her. "We really want him to turn himself in, like that will bring so much peace and so much comfort to all of us because we trusted him as a person," the victim's sister, Shakeria Williams, said.

According to police, Bertram Clark shot and killed Williams on Monday in front of her two children following a fight between the two at a friend's house earlier that day. Miami Police Sergeant Confessor Gonzalez said, "I warn anyone that's hiding him that he is wanted for murder, and that is a crime to assist him, to aid him and abet him in any way, shape or form."

Meanwhile, the family is heartbroken and pleading with Clark to turn himself in. "I have to deal with it. I have to be strong for my granddaughter," said Judditte Williams, the victim's mother. "But I would like for him to turn himself in no matter what because, first of all, he betrayed us because I took him as a person that I would never think he would do this."

Family members are now left to raise Williams' 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son.
