Police arrest alleged house burglar

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a home burglary after being caught on surveillance video.

German Rodriguez, 24, is behind bars and charged with burglary and grand theft.

Police believe Rodriguez is shown on surveillance video casing a house along Candia Avenue in Coral Gables before entering.

The thief triggered the alarm and took off with a pillow case stuff with jewelry.

Police say Rodriguez confessed to the burglary and several others.
