Man confesses to Miami Beach murder

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- According to police, a man has confessed to a 2011 murder mystery in Miami Beach.

Martin Gallegos has been arrested and charged with murder.

Police said Gallegos admitted to beating, stabbing and then burning the body of a man in Miami Beach last year. Gallegos also said he originally intended to carjack the victim.

Gallegos' alleged accomplices, Ellis McDaniel, and 14-year-old Anthony Andy have been charged with accessory to murder. McDaniel is accused of helping Hallegos buy the gas to set the car on fire.
