Police search for van thieves

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have released surveillance video after thieves stole a South Florida handyman's van.

The robbery occurred along Northwest 162nd Street and 19th Avenue, last Friday.

Surveillance video showed an SUV pulling alongside the parked van. The driver then turned off his lights, and seconds later, the handyman's van speeds away. "A friend walked out the door and said, 'Did you let your uncle hold your vehicle or somebody else borrow your vehicle?" and I said, 'no.' That's when I came out the house, and it was long gone," said van owner Lamar Cruse.
