Driver pleads not guilty after running over man

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A South Florida man pleaded not guilty after running over a man.

Franklin Parker is expected to be sentenced after pleading no contest to assault charges stemming from an incident that occurred last year.

Police said Parker ran over his son's landlord during an argument in front of a Fort Lauderdale home, back in December.

The victim has since made a full recovery.
