Motorcycle shop crooks at large

WEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Crooks are on the loose after stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a motorcycle shop.

Surveillance cameras were rolling as a truck smashed through the gate of Dosreis Miami Motorsports near Northwest 64th Street and 78th Avenue, early Sunday morning.

According to store owner Luis Colon, the thieves stole $20,000 in goods during the burglary.

Colon said he also lost his 3-year-old dog Bella, who ran out of the open garage during the crime. "We're just a small business trying to make it in this industry, and it's harder and harder everyday, especially with things like this happening to us," said Colon.
