Miami Beach officer suspended

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Miami Beach Police officer has been suspended after video of his speeding on the beach in his police cruiser went viral.
According to Miami Beach Police, officer Eric Dominguez has been suspended without pay for 40 hours. The officer's car privileges have also been revoked for two years, so he will be patrolling Miami Beach on foot.
In late March, allegations came to light that Dominguez was speeding in his patrol car on the sands of Miami Beach. Video of the incident was captured and posted on YouTube.
Miami Beach Police chief Raymond Martinez conducted an investigation into the allegations, and as a result, Dominguez was placed on suspension.
