Police continue to search lake area for missing woman

MIRAMAR, Fla. (WSVN) -- Authorities continue their intense search of a Miramar lake in connection with a South Florida high-profile missing woman.

Officers and K-9s scoured in and around a lake along Miramar Parkway and Monarch Lakes Boulevard, Tuesday, in a search for leads in the disappearance of Vilet Torrez.

Torrez, a mother of three, has been missing for a month.

Investigators have ruled foul play in her disappearance.

Cid Torrez, the woman's estranged husband, has been named a person of interest in the case.
