Miami-Dade voters to vote on pit bull ban

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Voters will soon be able to voice their choice about the pit bull ban in Miami-Dade County.

The ban will be on the primary ballot in Miami-Dade County in August.

The pit bull ban was imposed in the county over 20 years ago, after a pit bull attacked and disfigured an 8-year-old girl.

Several commissioners and other lawmakers pushed to outlaw the ban.
