SUNRISE, Fla. (WSVN) -- One South Florida city has smoked out the sale of synthetic marijuana; which is often misused by teens.
The City of Sunrise has banned the sale of herbal incense.
Officials said, synthetic marijuana, known on the streets by names such as "Spice" or "Mr. Nice Guy," has sent hundreds to the hospital, and in some cases, left users dead.
Sunrise is now the first city in Broward to ban it's sale.
Last month, the City of Sweetwater became the first city in Florida to pass a similar ban on synthetic marijuana.
