MIAMI (WSVN) -- The homeless victim of a cannibal attack received some much needed help for his soaring medical bills.
A hospital fund set up for Ronald Poppo has already raised $53,000.
The 65-year-old is now walking with the help of doctors but will need numerous reconstructive surgeries to his face.
Rudy Eugene, the man police said was responsible, was shot and killed by an officer during the attack on May 26, but not before he bit off a large portion of Poppo's face.
