Police arrest alleged drive-by shooter

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida man accused of firing multiple shots into a home has been arrested.

Brandon Potter, 29, appeared in court Thursday and faces multiple charges, including 11 counts of attempted murder. Police said Potter used an AK-47 to shoot 70 rounds into a Miami Gardens home at Northwest 207th Street and 23rd Court, on May 30.

Three adults and six children were inside at the time.

One child was injured by shattered glass.
