Accused band booster accepts plea deal
WESTON, Fla. (WSVN) -- A high school band booster accused of committing indecent acts has agreed to a plea deal.
As part of the plea, 43-year-old Michael Jacobs will spend seven years behind bars. He will also serve 20 years probation.
Jacobs volunteered with the band at Cypress Bay High School in Weston. During his time as a volunteer, he used alcohol, drugs and porn to lure teenage boys to sleep-overs at his house, where he had the boys take part in sexual acts.
