Fire crews extinguish brush fire

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fire crews put out a brush fire that ignited late Monday afternoon.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Florida Forest Service responded to the fire in the area of Southwest 168th Street and 202nd Avenue.

Crews quickly doused hot spots with water and contained the blaze.

Forestry officials said seven acres were burned.
