So. Fla. storms flood some areas

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- The storms looming over South Florida caused flooding in some neighborhoods in Broward on Sunday.
A 7 News viewer in Deerfield Beach used his canoe to paddle down the flooded street. "It actually floated in the middle of street with me in it, and it goes from here to where you can see where my front doorway is up there. It went right up there to that front doorway," said Chuck Brown.
The downpour even damaged one Lauderhill woman's home, along Northwest 20th Street and 47th Avenue. A gaping hole now remains in her garage ceiling.
Many parts of South Florida saw storm damage. Viewers sent in images of broken tree limbs and even a snapped railway arm.
