MARGATE, Fla. (WSVN) -- An Amber Alert that was issued for a missing 12-year-old girl has been canceled.

Megan Williams was found unharmed in Walton County, in the Florida panhandle, Sunday evening.

The 12-year-old was reported missing from her Margate home Saturday night.

Days before her disappearance, Megan's mother Melissa Ford noticed e-mails and text messages from an unknown person.

After Ford questioned her daughter, she saved the unknown phone number and the e-mails, which police say ultimately led to finding her daughter. "Clearly, he was intending on meeting her, and he tried as hard as possible to find out her address and her phone number," said Ford. "He pressured her a lot and gave her a lot of attention."

Police say Megan was with 30-year-old Dana Broberg of San Antonio, Texas.

Broberg was detained by police, and charges are pending.
