Officer faces judge in prescription case

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- An officer faced a judge after allegedly lying to doctors to get prescription drugs.

Officer Mark Rodriguez appeared in court on Tuesday on multiple charges after allegedly lying to a doctor in order to get a prescription.

Rodriguez is a 20-year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department.
